Perform project work for organizations such as The World Bank, Kaiser Permanente, and Pitney Bowes. Hold elected positions on California Chapter Board for Xplor International from 1994 to 2005, past President. Currently serving on Adobe Systems Joint Technology Council.

Upon the purchase of my company (Catapult Communications) by CAP Ventures, directed the resulting division to over-achieve first year revenue targets by 120% of plan.  Participated in consulting project work for manufacturers, service providers, and users of digital document technologies.  Developed successful project methodology, participated in industry research projects, performed client needs analysis.  Contributed to design and architecture of CAP Ventures initial web-based content delivery resource – "CLIENeT".

Spearheaded the proposition, development and implementation of in-house digital publishing and printing facility.  Manage a team responsible for automating corporate database publishing, and printing functions.  Reduce legacy document production time by over eighty percent.  Establish corporate on-line document access for key publications, resulting in the availability of current materials and the reduction of print and warehousing costs.  Review proposals and negotiate contracts with vendors for equipment acquisition, maintenance, and facilities management arrangements.

Ø  Senior Systems Analyst - (1987 to 1990)

 

 Responsible for determining client systems integration solutions with Xerox Network Systems (networked workstations and printers).  Primary tasks included; sales support, customer education, needs analysis, proposals, presentations, systems design and implementation.  Performed applications development, customer training and systems troubleshooting. Also trained internal Xerox staff on the use and sales of Xerox Network Systems. Coordinated Xerox Office Information Systems Project (Xerox intra-net global connectivity) in Century City and Los Angeles Downtown district offices.
 
 

 

Ø  Senior Customer Service Engineer - (1985 to 1987)

 

Installed, maintained and provided troubleshooting on Xerox Network Systems.  Serving Atlantic Richfield Corporation (ARCO) as a primary account provided extensive experience on a large local and wide area networks supporting many system platforms, including; IBM, DEC, Hewlett Packard and Apple.  Conceptualized, developed and managed an Office Products "rescuer" project resulting in the recovery of over $300,000 during first 4 months of operation.

 

 

Ø  Customer Service Representative - (1983 to 1985)

 

Performed service dispatch and customer call assistance.  Wrote database management programs tracking all Xerox Western Region Service Call Authorization activity.  Developed an award winning computerized telephone reference system.  Established criteria and conducted training for a Centralized Customer Call Assistance program.

 

 

Ø  Associate to Senior Technical Representative - (1980 to 1983)

 

Installed, maintained and repaired the Xerox 9000 family of products. Coordinated district wide systems retrofit program.
