Mr. Dana M. Cowe, EDP
Since 1978 Dana has had an active role in the publishing and printing sector. He has been directly involved with automated publishing, printing, and digital document delivery since its inception. In recent years Mr. Cowe has lead consulting teams in assisting Fortune 1000 clients achieve major business objectives through the application of key document strategies, tactics and resources. A small sampling of clients from various industries include: The World Bank, Kaiser Permanente, and Pitney Bowes. Prior to DCA, Mr. Cowe was Director, Corporate Document Strategies at CAP Ventures. He also spent ten years as a document technology provider with Xerox Corporation. While at Xerox he consulted with Fortune 500 companies in major vertical industry sectors, successfully implementing document automation solutions. Subsequent to Xerox, he spent five years as a document technology user at Health Net, a major west-coast health insurer. Dana spearheaded Health Net's document production automation. While developing and managing electronic publishing and printing services, he reduced legacy document production time by nearly eighty percent. Dana Cowes background includes a rich array of experience centered on a theme of automated document production. He is educated in business management, systems analysis, and electronics. He is also certified by Xplor International as an EDP (Electronic Document Professional) and holds a seat on the Adobe Systems Joint Technology Council. Mr. Cowes education, experience, and passionate drive to maintain a discerning knowledge of the digital document industry have prepared him to successfully carry out large scale document automation projects.
